This summer our company has been replacing evap coils installed from 2010 to 2012 like crazy.  When I asked the manufacturer they are in complete denial.   In particular the Carrier coils.  There is even a lawsuit started visit carrieraclawsuit.com . Has anyone else been having major problems?

Our customers are blaming us and dont want to pay the labour and refrigerant and rightfully so its only 1 to 2 yrs old.

So far we have replaced over 35-40 coils.

??? dont tell me formicary corrosion because we have had the same chemicals in houses for decades !!

Seeger Weiss LLP is a legit law firm.

There's alot more manufacturer's that might be affected.

Allied Air Enterprises is a Lennox Industries company who manufacture the coils in question.

It looks like Seeger Weiss LLP are going after Carrier, Lennox, and Coleman/York/Luxaire. (Click links to view Seeger Weiss LLP news pages.

Checkout this list of manufacturers that may also use those coils,
