Looking to get a welding ticket

I live in Bowmanville Ont, and I have a fair amount of welding experience. I can't seem to find a training place to get my High Pressure Vessel ticket. Every school says I have to start off in basic welding and work my way up ( something like 5 courses at $550 or so a pop + books). Does anyone know of any places which have a crash course program, or any advice.
Any information would be much appreciated.

you could go to the union halls in the area, they are always looking for a welder.

if not you might want ot take the advice of the training people and work your way up
